This piece was created for a private collection, and was originally an old Chinese chair.

The collector wanted me to transform it totally; she wanted to erase its origins, for personal reasons.

Her apartments are country-side style, so it was essential that I would do a piece that matched her interior’s color, shape, and subject choice, in spite of our style preferences.
